Alethos Partners works with organizations to create and execute strategies, build leadership capacity, and facilitate critical conversations.

Whether you're navigating a turning point, wanting to increase your impact, strengthening how your leadership team works together, or needing a skilled facilitator to guide what matters most — we help you move through the kind of change that doesn't come with a map.

The answer isn't something we deliver. It develops through real work — action, reflection, and learning together. What you leave with isn't just a plan. It's a practice and a team that knows how to use it. That work happens in three ways:

Strategy

For complex challenges

Most strategic plans don't fail because the ideas were bad. They fail because the people who have to do the work didn't co-author them — and because the process didn't develop the capabilities needed to adapt them in response to the messy, nonlinear reality of change.

Alethos draws on emergent strategy, equitable practices, and systems change frameworks to co-develop strategies that are grounded in your context, built through collective learning, and designed to evolve. You won't just leave with a document. You'll leave with a shared understanding of where you're going, why it matters, and how to move and adapt — together.

Sample engagements:

  • Leading a major strategic pivot. When market shifts, funding changes, or a new opportunity demands a different direction, we help you develop the new strategy, the organizational structure to support it, the roles needed to carry it forward, and an implementation roadmap to get there.

  • Building strategy for a new program or body of work. For initiatives that are new to your organization — a new line of work, a new audience, a new model — we help you define what success looks like, design how to get there, and build the internal alignment to launch well.

  • Setting the first vision, mission, and strategy for a newly formed organization. For founders and founding teams, we help shape the foundational clarity — what you exist to do, who you serve, and how you'll create change — so the organization can grow from a strong base.

Facilitation

For the conversations that matter most

Whether it's a team retreat, a convening of stakeholders, a difficult conversation, or a moment where something important needs to be decided — facilitation makes the difference between a meeting and a set of insights and decisions that moves things forward.

Alethos designs and leads facilitation experiences that create genuine connection, surface what's really going on, and move groups from conversation to clarity to action. We bring structure without rigidity, and hold space for the hard stuff without letting it derail the work.

Sample engagements:

  • Leadership team effectiveness and strategic decision-making. We work directly with leadership and executive teams to help them function better together — building the trust, clarity, and shared discipline needed to make the consequential decisions that shape the organization's direction.

  • Team and organizational retreats. When a team, division, or whole organization needs dedicated time together to launch a new initiative, reimagine their work, or reset how they operate, we design and lead retreats that combine reflection, alignment, and concrete forward motion.

  • Multi-stakeholder convenings. We bring partners together across organizations, sectors, or functions to learn from one another, strengthen their own work, and co-create what no single group could build alone — from communities of practice to coalition-building forums.

Coaching

For the next set of challenges

The leaders who change organizations aren't always the ones at the top. They're often the ones in the middle — managing up and down, holding complexity, and translating between the strategic vision above them and the daily reality below.

Alethos coaches mid-level managers and emerging leaders who are ready to grow — building the skills, confidence, and self-awareness that make them more effective right now, and preparing them for what's ahead.

Coaching with Lisa is grounded, practical, and deeply relational. We work on what's real: the conversations you've been avoiding, the leadership style that feels most like you, the patterns getting in your way, and the next step you're ready to take.

Sample engagements:

  • Navigating a career inflection point. Working with leaders facing a major shift in their work: deciding whether to make a strategic pivot, moving through the change, and identifying what they want to do next.

  • Stepping into a new role. Supporting leaders in the first months of a new position — a stretch assignment, a promotion, or a move to a new organization — to get oriented quickly, build the right relationships, and figure out what success actually requires in this seat.

  • Growing into what's next. Helping leaders who are already capable in their current role get more out of it — sharpening their leadership, addressing the patterns getting in their way, and preparing for the bigger opportunity they're ready to take on.
